Ten members of the Sapadores Firefighters from Funchal traveled this morning to an apartment located in Caminho de Santo António, after being informed that there was a lot of smoke in the place.
When they got there, they verified that it was a pot forgotten by the fire and turned off the stove, extinguishing the fire.
An urban firefighting vehicle, a boss, a ladder and an ambulance were mobilized for the site.
