Foreigners Net Buy Rp 1.16 Trillion When JCI Corrected, These Are The Stocks That Are Most Buying Up

KONTAN.CO.ID –  JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed in the red zone after a day in the green. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI corrected 10.48 points or 0.15% to a level of 7,182,830 at the close of trading on Thursday (9/6).

Pressure on the JCI occurred after nine of the total 11 sectors on the IDX corrected. The sectors that fell the most were the transportation sector at 1.57%, the health sector at 0.84%, the property and real estate sector at 0.83%, the primary consumer goods sector at 0.81% and the infrastructure sector at 0.70%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Thursday reached 28.98 billion with a transaction value of Rp 17.29 trillion. There were 318 stocks that were corrected, 202 stocks were strengthened and 173 stocks were stagnant.

Even though the JCI was corrected, foreign investors actually recorded a net buy of Rp 1.16 trillion in all markets.

Foreigners recorded the largest net buy in shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) of Rp 641.7 billion. BMRI shares rose 0.30% slightly to Rp 8,425 per share. The total trading volume of BMRI shares reached 124.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 1 trillion.

Shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) were also bought up by foreigners amounting to Rp 393.6 billion. BBRI shares rose slightly 0.45% to Rp 4,490 per share. The total trading volume of BBRI shares reached 178 million with a transaction value of Rp 801.2 billion.

Then the shares of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) is also crowded with foreign collections amounting to Rp 215.3 billion. ASII shares rose 0.35% slightly to Rp 7,200 per share. The total trading volume of ASII’s shares reached 42.9 million with a transaction value of Rp. 310 billion.
