Foreigners even collected these stocks when the JCI was hit by panic Monday (30/11)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed down nearly 3% at the close of trading Monday (30/11). Citing RTI data, JCI fell 170,920 points or 2.96% to 5,612,415 levels at the close of trading.

During trading, the JCI had indeed entered the red zone, but in the second trading session, the JCI fell drastically to more than 3% and then reduced the decline at the end of trading.

Nine out of 10 sectors are flushed. Among others, the infrastructure sector fell 5%, the miscellaneous industry sector was cut by 3.92%, the financial sector fell 3.31% and the basic industry sector was depressed by 3.23%. Only sectors agriculture which rose 2.21%.

The total volume of stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) also recorded a record 35.8 billion with a jumbo transaction value of Rp 32.8 trillion. A total of 405 stocks fell and 112 stocks rose, and 115 stocks did not change.

Foreign investors posted net sell IDR 3.27 trillion in all markets and IDR 3.11 trillion in the regular market. However, foreigners were also noted to buy up a number of these shares amid the decline in the JCI.

Foreigners collect shares of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) IDR 298.7 billion. Although bought by foreigners, MDKA’s shares fell 1.27% to IDR 1,940 per share. The total volume of MDKA stock trading reached 107.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 2.1 trillion.

Foreigners also bought up shares of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) IDR 192.1 billion. TOWR shares also fell 2.67% to Rp 1,095 per share. The total trading volume of TOWR shares reached 237.4 million with a transaction value of Rp 2.6 trillion.

Foreigners also collect shares of PT Media Nusantara Tbk (MNCN) Rp 22 billion. Despite being bought by foreigners, MNCN shares fell 4.25% to Rp 1,015 per share. The total trading volume of MNCN’s shares reached 15.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 160.6 billion.
