The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia emphasized that this year marks the centenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Latvia and Norway, as well as the 30th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations. “Historically, Norway’s support in Latvia’s efforts to restore its independence, as well as its cultural and historical ties, have contributed to Latvia’s democratic development. We highly appreciate the co-operation between Latvia and Norway at the regional level, ”said E. Rinkēvičs.
