Forecast of Solar and Geomagnetic Activity November 13-19, 2023

This week you should not expect particularly intense magnetic storms. There may be slight fluctuations at low levels.

Forecast of solar and geomagnetic activity for the week of November 13-19, 2023 published US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Space Weather Prediction Center.

On November 6-12, solar activity fluctuated from low to moderate levels. While geomagnetic field activity ranged from quiet G1 to moderate G2 storm levels.

According to the forecast, solar activity is expected to range from very low to moderate levels (R1-R2) on November 13-19 and later on November 19-December 09.

On November 13, the geomagnetic field activity will be at the G1 level due to the constant activity of the coronal mass ejection.

Quiet to unstable levels are expected Nov. 14-16.

On November 13-17, the electron flow in geosynchronous orbit will reach high levels.

Let us recall that we previously wrote about whether solar flares and magnetic storms can affect human health.
