Ford will lift the veil on its P1 project, the very first car designed in collaboration with gamers

Ford is returning to Gamescom, Europe’s largest video game show, for the fourth year in a row, and the Fordzilla team should be talking about it again.

At this virtual event, the Fordzilla team will present their new dedicated website, TeamFordzilla.com, reveal the name of the winner of the inaugural Fordzilla Cup and announce, during the opening night live on August 27, exciting news about Team Fordzilla’s Project P1 – the very first car designed as a collaboration between players and a car manufacturer.

The largest European event dedicated to video games, Gamescom is also the largest European commercial platform for the video game industry. This year, it will be fully online, with different events taking place over three days and ending on August 30. Here are the three flagship events for Team Fordzilla at Gamescom 2020:

With the launch of www.teamfordzilla.com, fans of Ford’s official esports team will be able to follow the races live on Twitch, download vehicle designs for use in-game and keep up to date with the latest announcements. .

The P1 project is a collaboration between Ford designers and the gaming community (via social media), a world first for a car manufacturer. The final design for this project will be unveiled at Gamescom 2020 and a second special announcement is expected.
