Ford Focus ST won’t have all-wheel drive version – Motor

According to Stefan Muenzinger, head of Ford Performance Europe, in an interview with Car Advice, the Ford Focus ST will not have an all-wheel drive version. Perhaps the all-wheel drive transmission could get the RS version, but the prospects for its appearance in the current generation Focus are not even discussed. The ST modification will remain exclusively with front-wheel drive, and in the next generation it will also become a hybrid – Münzinger called it inevitable.
