For a new tomato variety, white wine and jujube liqueur – Agro Plovdiv – 2024-02-23 12:37:05

The regional governor Dr. Eng. Iliya Zyumbilev awarded and congratulated the innovators in two sections of the innovation competition at the Agra International Exhibition 2024. The event is being held for the 15th time at the initiative of the Plovdiv International Fair and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture. 35 companies and 15 scientific institutes with innovative products, scientific developments and technologies are participating in the competition this year.

Engineer Zyumbylev presented a diploma for innovation in varietal seeds and planting material to Geosemselect OOD for a new tomato variety Prista F 1, to IZS “Obratzov chiflik” Ruse for alfalfa variety “Cveta” and to the Institute of Agriculture – Karnobat for winter multi-row barley, variety “Yuli Bian”.

The regional governor awarded a plaque and a diploma to Rox Winery Ltd. for CHARDONNE BARRICK GOLD with gold particles, a diploma from DD Ltd. for Natural juniper liqueur and from Bevine Ltd. for BeVine – A solution for optimization and management from the vineyard to the bottle. All three innovations are from the “Machines and technologies for the production of wines and spirits” section.
