What has long characterized ASNL the most this season is its annoying habit of conceding goals at the end of the match and its crazy number of “csc”. Nancy is also the L2 team which lost the most points after opening the scoring (19 pts!). But this is changing after the two consecutive victories against Pau (1-0) and Dunkirk (1-2) where thistle training has managed, each time, to hold its precious advantage.

Already last season
Nancy has another much more positive trademark in store: her ability to reverse badly embarked situations! It happened last Saturday with the Dunkirk people and it’s not the first time! The Nancéiens have gained 15 points this season after being led. No one has done better in this championship. This ASNL is the most stunning team in Ligue 2 so far, ahead of Caen (13 pts) and Toulouse (11 pts) according to Opta stats!
Nancy has been blamed for many things this season, except for her state of mind and her mental resources in all circumstances. As in Valenciennes at the beginning of January, when ASNL had achieved the feat of going from 2-0 to 2-3 while playing ten! Last season, Jean-Louis Garcia’s men also wrote a completely improbable scenario, beating Le Mans at Picot nine after the expulsions of Baptiste Valette and Ernest Seka. An incredible success which recalled the unforgettable victory against Troyes in 2004 under the same conditions …
