These were bizarre scenes that took place in the final minutes of the meeting between Kristiansund and Viking in the Norwegian league.
After the away team Viking’s goalkeeper Patrik Gunnarsson and midfielder David Brekalo did not share an opinion on how a post should be handled, it spilled over.
David Brekalo reacted strongly to his own goalkeeper’s reprimand, and responded by pushing goalkeeper Gunnarsson twice. At the second push, the goalkeeper threw himself to the ground while he headed towards the head.
This resulted in Brekalo receiving a direct red card.
