The Ministry of Health has issued a statement of food recalls for a well-known product for children

The production address is Glaskoch B. Koch jr. GmbH + CO. Bad Driburg, Germany. Therefore it is not cutlery produced in Italy, but import. The utensils belong to the lotto 48650 and the code of the article is 018850-018851. From what we read in the note, the recall is due to the risk of migration of materials intended to come into contact with food. In the product specifications, it says that the problem is lead migration.

Ministry of Health, other food recalls of 9 November
Not only cutlery for children, there are three other references dated November 9, 2020. One product is from the well-known brand Selex Via Del Progresso 32, 36064 COLCERESA (VI). It is about organic sesame seeds with expiry 06/08/21 in the 250 g package due to the presence of ethylene oxide not allowed in organic production and beyond the legal limits.

Another product of the Verdemio brand is a organic seed mix in the 180 g package with expiry 08/07/21 for a reason similar to the previous one: presence of ethylene oxide beyond the legal limits. The latest product belonging to the Droghe Palma brand are boxes of 25 sweet paprika sachets in powder, 30 g belonging to batch J20053 expiring on 09/28/24. According to a note, under notification of the supplier of the sweet paprika raw material, it is not regulated for exceeding the limits of substance ochratoxin A.
