It does not specify the cause of Hawkins’ death. It has been reported in the media that he was found dead in a hotel room in Bogotá.

On Friday, the band was scheduled to perform at the Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogotá, Colombia. The festival announced that the performance has been canceled.

Hawkins has been playing in one of the most influential and critically acclaimed alternative rock bands in the United States since 1997, when Dave Grail, a soloist and former drummer for Nirvana, was invited to join the band. He has also played drums for Canadian Indian singer Alanis Morrisete before.

The drummer has participated in the writing of many “Foo Fighters” songs and often sang.

Last year, Foo Fighters celebrated its 25th anniversary, but recently made the rock and roll horror film Studio 666.
