An internal football tournament will be held on Saturday May 29 at the Ratel stadium. Adonis Tchounet, senior playing in the pennant team, was responsible for organizing this unprecedented tournament, reserved for U12 and U15 players from Fontaine-lès-Dijon Football-Club. “Foot-golf is one of the new practices created by the French Football Federation, like foot-petanque or walking football. For our part, we decided to orient ourselves initially towards the foot-golf hence the organization of a small internal tournament ”, develops Adonis Tchounet, who contacted the departmental district, to bring to the club Fontaineois a logistical help. “It is the Côte-d’Or football district that will lend us the equipment and an educator will be present to give out the instructions to the children.”
Foot-golf consists of putting a soccer ball in the holes (suitable material provided by the football district) and finishing the course with the least possible strike in the same way as in golf. The objective for the local club is twofold since this tournament, beyond satisfying a good number of licensees, will perhaps serve as a springboard, as the organizer confides. “The club plans to create a leisure section where it will be offered, in addition to playing football, to try new practices such as football-golf, football-pétanque, etc. … This tournament, this Saturday, will therefore be be used to measure the degree of interest in one of these new practices. “
