His first idea takes the form of a smartphone prototype with a tri-folding screenthat is to say equipped with a system of double foldingat a time inward and outward.
His other idea is to develop “expandable” screens capable of deploying and then retract horizontally or vertically.
Samsung is however not the first to offer this type of concept which, for the moment, has still not given rise to the product on the market.
Son grand concurrent LG featured an 8-inch touchscreen that can fold in or out, again as needed, and a 17-inch foldable PC screen. The latter should soon be used by Asus.
