After players dressed up as clowns online protested there is new content today Red Dead Online added. It concerns a new Frontier Pursuits Role for players: The Naturalist.
In addition to the Bounty Hunter, Collector, Trader and Moonshiner, this new role focused on the animal kingdom offers the opportunity to partner with conservationist Harriet Davenport in which players hunt, track and study the animals of the five states.
The Naturalist also introduces Legendary Animals for the first time in Red Dead Online, along with new role-specific missions, items and abilities, such as a Sample Kit and Animal Field Guide to help locate and study animals; new tonics and tonic recipes; and a range of weapons capable of stuning to support Harriet’s conservation efforts.
For players who prefer hunting rather than conservation, Gus Macmillan, the big game hunter, will be happy to turn animal skins into new, high-quality garments and trinkets.
Also included in the update is a new advanced camera, the latest Outlaw Pass with up to 40 Gold Bars and a variety of unique items and upgrades to unlock in 80 ranks, plus multiple community-requested features and fixes. Rockstar promises that there will be a lot more to play and discover in the coming months. So if you want more content in an online game: just protest online, it helps!
