Samsung officially launched Galaxy Tab A8 in Indonesia. The price starts from IDR 3 million, along with complete specifications and bonuses when preordering.
Galaxy Tab A8 comes in a minimalist design with a premium feel. Samsung provides a choice of colors Gray, Silver and Pink Gold.
This tablet offers a wide expanse of screen, carrying a size of 10.5 inches with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The ratio is 16:10 with slimmer bezels.
Samsung provides four speakers that support Dolby Atmos in order to maximize the experience of enjoying entertainment through this tablet. But the Galaxy A8 can also be relied on for productivity.
Because, this tablet provides split-screen and floating windows features. As a result, users can multitask while working or studying.
To support all of this, Samsung has capitalized on the Galaxy Tab A8 with the Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset which is made with 12nm fabrication.

“The performance of the CPU and GPU has increased by 10% from the Galaxy A7. In terms of storage, it has also increased to 128 GB, this is four times the previous one. External storage is up to 1 TB so that it can store a season of favorite serial films,” said Annisa Maulina, Product Marketing Manager Samsung SEIN, Friday (21/1/2022).
A 5 MP camera is installed on the front which can be relied on for conducting online meetings. While on the back, there is an 8 MP camera.
The installed battery has a capacity of 7,040 mAh. There is support for 15W fast charging which promises to fully charge the tablet in 1.5 hours.
In addition to WiFi, LTE connection options are available. Other connection features include Bluetooth 5, WiFi 5 (AC). USB Type C 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.

Price of Samsung Galaxy A8
Samsung presents two variants of the Galaxy A8, namely:
- WiFi Only with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM, the price is IDR 2.999 million
- LTE with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, the price is Rp 4.5 million
This tablet can be obtained through preorders which will be held from January 24-31 2022 via online or offline. The customer will get a book cover worth Rp 600 thousand for the WiFi variant, while the LTE version will be given the Galaxy Fit 2. All variants will receive additional Samsung Care+ for 6 months.
“The total benefit that consumers will receive is almost Rp. 1 million,” said Annisa.
