Battleship Märklin from 1920: € 46,800

This superb 90 cm mechanical cuirassier was produced by the famous German house Märklinv, around 1920. A company well known by the Galerie de Chartres, specializing in particular in old toys.

Saab 96 Sport: € 30,000


A 1963 Saab 96 Sport was sold at auction on March 22. This car has only had one and only owner in 57 years, a Eurélien, which increases its value.

But also its purchase on the Swedish stand at the Paris Motor Show in 1963. This Saab, which displays 78,618 km on the clock, had also been prepared for this event, which gives it originality. The vehicle was sold for 30,000 €, direction Holland.

The weapon (96 cm) is stored in a scabbard covered with leather, with metal stitching, with two fittings and two cut iron bracelets, niello with gold. € 41,159 were needed to afford it on June 26, 2021. It was shipped to the United Kingdom.

This rare early 15th century manuscript is a Book of Hours. A work of prayers for lay people in medieval times.

The manuscript is bound in full 16th century brown calfskin, with the covers decorated with a double frame of gilded fillet. It was sold for € 24,793.

Baby Bru: 18,600 €

The dolls from the Bru house attract major collectors. This is the case of the rare and beautiful patented “Bébé Bru”, known as the “Circle and dot” model, sold by the Galerie de Chartres on June 5, 2021, for the sum of € 18,600. This coin dates from the early 1880s.

Also during a sale dedicated to the railway, this decorative element, a mountain with fountain from the Märklin brand (difference. II), was auctioned for the sum of € 38,934 on April 25, 2021.

Dating from the early 20th century, this piece (50×51 cm) has a railway passage in the center, with a hydraulic system for the fountain.

Brooch en or: 19,157 €


This 18-karat (750 thousandths) yellow gold brooch, dating from the 19th century, represents a grasshopper, the enamelled body and the wings in polychrome plique-à-jour (enamel technique). It encloses in its paws an old-cut, cushion-shaped diamond set with six prongs.
