41 drivers and their cars were checked by the police in Linz between Friday afternoon and Saturday 1:00 a.m. 17 vehicles were so conspicuous for the police officers of the state traffic department and the Linz city police command that they were immediately technically checked. This was carried out in Linz’s Prinz-Eugen-Straße in a state test center.
Nine license plates removed
And indeed, this technical check meant the end of the journey for nine. Because these vehicles generated so much noise or had technical defects that danger was imminent. The license plates were therefore removed. In addition, 57 complaints were made about technical defects in the vehicles.
