Flying transformer car flew between cities – video

The unique car covered the distance between the airports of the Slovak cities of Nitra and Bratislava.

Taking off into the air, AirCar was able to accelerate to an astonishing speed of 170 kilometers per hour.

Hybrid specifications

• AirCar is powered by a BMW engine.
• It runs on regular gasoline fuel.
• The creator assures that the transformer can fly about 1,000 kilometers at an altitude of 2,500 meters.
• AirCar can transport two people at the same time, the total weight of which is not more than 200 kg.

Stefan Klein says that so far the car has already spent 40 hours in the air.

In order to take off, a car needs a runway. And the transformation process from car to plane takes 2 minutes 15 seconds.

It took about two years to create AirCar and almost the same million euros.
