IN within Studies by Daniel Modin of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, with the support of colleagues, used a nationwide registry to identify patients with diabetes for nine seasons of influenza. So, experts analyzed cardiovascular changes from December 1 to April 1 of the following year. During the work, the state of 241 551 patients was studied.
It turned out that vaccination reduced the likelihood of dying from cardiovascular disease, stroke, and other causes. In addition, patient vaccination reduced the likelihood of hospitalization with acute complications associated with diabetes, including diabetic ketoacidosis, hypoglycemia, or coma.
