Flowers were laid at the bust of the former director of PGMK in Aktau Ruben Grigoryan

news-id-116922" style="display:inline;">People do not forget, every year they honor the memory and speak warmly of the former director of the unique PGMK complex.

The tradition of laying flowers, which took place on Friday, November 24, was timed to coincide with the 106th anniversary of the birth of Ruben Grigoryan. The ceremony brought together the Deputy Akim of Aktau, representatives of ethnocultural associations, old-timers, pioneers and the public.

Many of those present spoke about the extraordinary personality of Ruben Grigoryan, about his honesty and decency. And, it is worth noting that he never resolved his personal issues to the detriment of other pioneers. He even forbade his family to use his name for their own purposes.

As Lyudmila Kravchenko, a representative of the Ukrainian cultural center, noted, our current leadership needs to learn from people like Ruben Grigoryan.

– He was very easy to communicate with people. When they personally approached him with some requests, he certainly solved them. He was very attentive to all people without exception,” shared one of the first graduates of the school in Shevchenko, Liliya Kerzhbaum.
