Florida Coronavirus Cases Increase to Over 4,000, and Miami-Dade Already 1,121 | Univision 23 Miami WLTV

Florida Department of Health reported in his report on Saturday afternoon, that there are 4,038 cases of coronavirus, between residents and people from other parts, which tested positive in the state.

In Miami-Dade there are already 1,121 people infected and in Broward, 820.

Between Miami-Dade and Broward there are 1,941 cases, being the counties that most concentrate the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the entire state.

The other cases are spread across other Florida counties, with 318 in Palm Beach; Hillsborough, 206 cases; Orange, 213; and, Monroe 22, among others.

In total, in the state, 43,071 people have already been tested (0.20% of the population of 21.3 million people), in order to determine if they are infected with covid-19, of those 37,327 gave a negative result.

Authorities said that of the total cases in Florida, 3,877 are residents of the state and 161 belong to other localities.

The recommendation offered by the authorities is that, to avoid infections, if the person does not feel well, they should stay home and call the health center’s toll free line. They also offer a list of places where people with symptoms can be tested.
