Antibody tests arrive in Switzerland

Switzerland wants to use new antibody tests to find out who already had the coronavirus and is therefore immune to the lung disease.

The “Tagesanzeiger” writes on Saturday that Swiss laboratories would get such antibody tests. The German company Euroimmun had received approval for commercial distribution in Europe on Monday. The first priority is now to test staff in the hospitals. “For the time being, we are supplying the largest amount to university facilities,” says Angelika Stofer, managing director of the Swiss subsidiary.
