Florida Coronavirus Cases Increase to 2,355: Miami-Dade Reaches 616 | Univision 23 Miami WLTV

The Florida Department of Health reported in its report Thursday morning that there are 2,355 cases of coronavirus, among residents and people from other parts, that tested positive in the state. In addition, 28 people have lost their lives in Florida due to covid-19.

Miami-Dade has a figure of 616 infections and Broward 504. The rest are spread across other Florida counties, with 169 in Palm Beach; Hillsborough, 142 cases; Orange, 110; and, Monroe 12, among others.

Between Miami-Dade and Broward there are 1130 cases, being the counties that most concentrate the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the entire state.

In total, in the state, 23,723 people have already been tested to determine if they are infected with covid-19, of those 20,165 gave a negative result.

Until Thursday morning, the results of the tests carried out on 1,581 people were expected.

Authorities said that of the total cases in Florida, 2,235 are residents of the state and 120 belong to other localities.

The recommendation offered by the authorities is that, to avoid infections, if the person does not feel well, they should stay home and call the health center’s toll free line.
