“Flatten the curve”, keeping the curve of the corona infections flat over a long period of time so that the health system does not collapse – that was the magic at the beginning of the pandemic. That seems to have worked in Main-Spessart: There were only five confirmed new infections in the whole month of May. In the meantime, the district office has registered another person who died or with Corona, for a total of six deaths.
