British Airways requests 60% wage sacrifice Financial

Conversations with employees who want to remain anonymous indicate that the airline has a cut in salary for people who have sometimes worked for the company for decades. Mirror has some of them tell their story in the newspaper.

British Airways has a total of about 12,000 employees fear for their jobs, it was previously known. The airline, like other airlines, is going through a very difficult period because of the corona crisis. Parent group IAG wrote a billion-dollar loss in the first quarter. In order to get through the crisis, IAG has asked for support from the British government.

IAG CEO Willie Walsh, who would actually leave in March, will stay until September to ward off the crisis period. According to him, it will certainly take until 2023 before passenger flows return to pre-crisis levels.
