Flandy Limpele Officially Becomes Indonesia’s Mixed Doubles Coach

PBSI has officially signed Flandy Limpele as the mixed doubles sector coach and will join in April 2022.

“It is true that Flandy (Limpele) will join the PBSI National Training Center this April,” said Rionny Mainaky, Head of Binpres PP PBSI to PP PBSI’s PR and Media Team in a release on Monday (28/3).

“Flandy will help the mixed doubles team. We welcome his arrival with pleasure,” he continued.

Flandy’s track record and experience as a flashy coach made PBSI recall the coach who was born on February 9, 1974.

Previously, the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) had informed Flandy’s departure. BAM stated that Flandy left the training camp on Monday (28/3).

“BAM confirms the departure of the men’s doubles coach, Flandy Limpele, effective April 1, 2022,” BAM wrote in a statement.

In addition to Flandy, PBSI also signed a contract with Namrih Suroto as assistant coach of the primary women’s doubles.
