After informing Paulo Sousa of his resignation in the late afternoon of this Thursday, after leading the training in Atibaia, the Flamengo made the departure of the Portuguese coach official. The club already has an agreement with the replacement, which will be Dorival Júnior, who was in Ceará.

This Friday’s training session, in Atibaia, will be led by the under-20 team’s coach, Marcio Jorge.

Paulo Sousa, 51 years old, directed the Flamengo in 32 matches, with 19 wins, 7 draws and 6 losses. He didn’t win a title and got two vice-championships, the state and the Supercup of Brazil. The team currently occupies the 14th place in the Brasileirão.
