Flachgau couple lost almost 30,000 euros with an investment in cryptocurrency

A couple from Flachgau apparently fell for Internet fraudsters and lost almost 30,000 euros that they invested in a crypto currency. In October 2020, it had registered with an internet investment company and transferred 30,300 euros to two accounts. In order to entice the couple to make further transfers, they received 900 euros once. The two have so far seen nothing of the rest of the money, according to the Salzburg police, who are investigating serious fraud.
