Five foreign citizens without identity documents were detained in the capital’s “Druzhba” district

Five foreign citizens without identity documents were detained today in the capital’s “Druzhba” district, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced, BTA reported.

They were arrested after the car that was transporting them crashed. Its driver fled the scene and is still being sought by law enforcement.

No one was injured in the incident, which happened around noon today. Only material damage was done to a few parked cars.

The Ministry of the Interior specified that the work on the case continues.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of the Interior announced another case, from May 23, in which near Vladaya metropolitan police officers detained 11 foreign citizens without identity documents.
