We have now reached the end of July and
finally the weather conditions will begin to change thanks to the influx of more humid and relatively cool air
from western quadrants. Let’s go in order to observe the atmospheric dynamics that will lead to the long-awaited change:
the African promontory, which has stationed for a long time over a large part of central and southern Europe, will migrate eastwards, favoring the entry of air masses of Atlantic origin and, therefore, with very different characteristics compared to the previous ones
. It will be precisely the difference in temperature in play in the atmospheric column that will favor the development of cumulus clouds, that is, of thunderstorms; the arrangement of the bearing currents at high altitude, however, will not be such as to presuppose significant accumulations of rain but rather local atmospheric events and therefore for limited surfaces.
Although some thunderstorms could affect the Orobie on Tuesday, the arrival of rain on Wednesday, between morning and mid-afternoon, appears much more likely
