first PS5 free game announced!

From a bad news came a much better one. Today Sony was forced to announce the postponement of Destructions All-Stars. The combat racer was supposed to be a PS5 launch game, but Lucid Games needs more time to refine it and make it arrive on the shelves in a decent way.

Sony, fortunately, has been largely forgiven by revealing that Destruction All-Stars will be free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers for two months after the release, for now fixed in a generic February 2021. All those who had already pre-ordered it with the aim of taking it together with PlayStation 5 will be regularly reimbursed. We can therefore say that we are facing the first PS5 game to be announced for the PlayStation Plus! Not a bad record.

At the moment we don’t know if Destruction All-Stars will also be the first PlayStation 5 game ever to enter the Instant Game Collection, or if it will be preceded by others. Of course, we know that all premium service subscribers will have access from the launch of PS5 to the PlayStation Plus Collection, a collection of ben 18 games from the PS4 era fully usable on the next-gen console thanks to backward compatibility. Among the many, we mention Persona 5, The Last of Us Remastered, Bloodborne, Days Gone and Resident Evil 7.
