The first RTX 3080 and 3090 video cards from Nvidia partners are in the Pricewatch. For the time being, the cheapest models have about the same price as the Founders Edition versions of Nvidia. The video cards will be released in a few weeks.
In the Tweakers Pricewatch prices are listed for Inno3D and Gigabyte RTX 3080 cards at the time of writing. These costs, depending on the version, between 719 and 799 euros. There are also RTX 3090 cards from the same manufacturers in the Pricewatch, for prices between EUR 1,549 and EUR 1,629. At the Product comparison of Hardware Info MSI cards are also featured, with similar prices.
In all cases, it concerns first price listings for one webshop. The video cards won’t be released for a few weeks, but the prices seem to indicate manufacturers are going to sell their RTX 3000 cards at prices comparable to what Nvidia is charging for its Founders Editions. In the past, the FE versions have often been cheaper, but they were also poorly available or sold out quickly.
The German price comparison site Geizhals does not yet show prices for the new RTX cards, but a large German online store does have prices for several RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 cards. It also concerns some models from Asus, PNY and Zotac. The Asus ROG Strix version of the RTX 3090 costs 1789 euros there. Supposedly this is one of the most expensive RTX 3090 variants. Incidentally, VAT in Germany is lower than in the Netherlands and Belgium, so the price may differ in the Benelux.
Nvidia announced his RTX 3000 series of video cards on September 1. The RTX 3080 will be on sale from September 17 for a suggested retail price of 719 euros. The RTX 3090 will follow on September 24 for a suggested retail price of EUR 1,549. The RTX 3070 will appear in October for 519 euros, but when exactly is not known yet. Prices of RTX 3070 video cards from Nvidia partners have not yet been released.
