First Miradas Mayores Film Festival brings together community and celebrates love and care

With an excellent public framework, the inaugural function of the First Miradas Mayores Film Festival was held in La Ligua, on Friday, August 25. The activity had the participation of the actresses Anita Reeves and Consuelo Holzapfel as hosts and an audience primarily made up of older adults and residents of the community, an occasion that was the opportunity to see the premiere of the documentary by Maite Alberdi “La memoria infinita”, starring Augusto Góngora and Paulina Urrutia.

The day moved the attendees who celebrated the possibility of coming together around the cinema, as well as reflecting on love, care, caregivers and patients with a disease like Alzheimer’s.

The initiative had the support of the PUCV through its Directorate of Cultural Artistic Liaison and the Senior Action Program. The billboard will last until November with functions in the communes of Petorca, Catemu, Cabildo, Panquehue and Putaendo.
