Fans are waiting in excitement, and now we have the first real look at what awaits us in the HBO special “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts”, which comes on New Year’s Day.

On Monday, HBO Max released the official trailer for the Harry Potter reunion, which is made in connection with the 20th anniversary of the first film in the popular series, «Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone».
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) reunite in Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, reminisces back to the ten years when they were involved in making the eight Harry Potter films. The first had its cinema premiere on November 4, 2001. The last on July 7, 2011.
– Strong bond
– It feels like it is not long ago – and as if it is a long time ago, Watson says in the clip.
She is sitting with her two Hogwarts friends in Gryffindor’s living room.
– What scared me the most was the importance of the fact that the most meaningful in our lives was over, says Radcliffe, and adds:
– But it did not happen that way.
The reunion will also feature stars such as Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood). In addition, we meet several of the filmmakers behind the eight films.
“When things are really dark, and times are really tough, there’s something about Harry Potter that makes life richer,” Watson said in the trailer.
– It is a strong bond that we always want, Grint answers.
–The author behind the Harry Potter universe JK Rowling is not even in the TV special, but will according to Deadline contribute comments. Variety writes that the accusations of transphobic comments are the reason why she is not involved.
The fans are looking forward to it

– Damn. I had not realized how nostalgic this would be for me, writes a fan, adding:
– Hell emotional. I think of simpler times in my life. I read the books in primary and secondary school. And the movies came out when I was between 12 and 22 years old. From a child, to a teenager, to an adult.
