One month after the opening of the indoor pool of the Pré-Leroy swimming pool in Niort, it is the nordic basin which is now accessible to the public since Monday, December 13. One 50 meter pool with a water heated to about 28 degrees and open all year. “It’s great, in fact we’re not cold at all. It’s a real pleasure to be in this pool”, rejoices Aurélie who continues “and it’s very easy to get in because you have access from the inside”. An “immersion lock” makes it possible to enter the water without having to leave the building.

“It’s great, and then the decor around is really very pretty with this little mist above the water, it’s unusual”, says another swimmer. For Eric, who goes the lengths, “It’s a facility that was missing in the Niort area. Everything has been very well thought out. After two remarks, it’s the high price and the parking lot which seems to me to be limited in number of places as soon as it’s going to be very busy. But these are two small disadvantages compared to the advantage of the installation”.
