Famke Louise and Denzel Slager already make a figurative mess of it in the first episode. Everything that is seen as clumsy, the duo does immediately. For example, Famke calls her mother and they let acquaintances drive them around all day.
To make matters worse, they also think it’s ‘a boss move’ to just sleep in their own house. “They never expect that”, say Famke and Denzel. What they just don’t realize is that the hunters are closer to their heels than they think… The Hunters can see exactly where the two are.
Although Famke and Denzel still have the idea to flee, they immediately see that it is too late when the Hunters are at their door. In an attempt to escape, they run to the back of the house, but there are also Hunters waiting for them, who immediately handcuff them. “What the fuck?!” Denzel calls out, who doesn’t seem to understand how they got caught.
The viewers of Hunted VIPS are not surprised that the duo was caught first. “I didn’t expect anything else,” one person writes. Another: ‘Gosh, we didn’t see that coming.’ According to another viewer, it must be a record to be caught ‘so quickly’.
In any case, the Hunters are very happy with the arrest of Famke and Denzel, even though it probably won’t have been the hardest. “Nice arrest guys,” says Marcel, the leader of the Hunters.
If Denzel is a little too loose-lipped during the interrogation, this leads to annoyance among the viewers. He tells about the beeps they heard at the beginning of their escape. They think he is ruining it for the other duos, who are still at large. ‘Denzel is already screwing the other teams. Otherwise, tell us the coordinates right away. Such a shame,’ said an irritated viewer. ‘What an egg’, another roars.
