Bush said that the first batch of tanks is ready to ship. Therefore, on August 12-13, it is planned to start their delivery to Ukraine. It should be emphasized that not only Abrams will arrive, but also ammunition for them, spare parts and various equipment.

Now they must get to Europe, and then to Ukraine, along with everything that comes with them. Ammunition, spare parts, fuel equipment, repair facilities. That is, these are not just tanks, this is a complete package that comes with them. It’s still in progress

By the way, the Ukrainian military is still training on Abrams tanks. Their beginning became known on May 27. According to preliminary information, the training will last for 10-12 weeks, that is, almost until the end of the summer.

On August 4, the German government announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. It included: 2 Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns, 2 Wisent 1 mine-clearing tanks, 11 anti-mine plows for T-72 tanks, 5 SurveilSPIRE reconnaissance systems, 9 border guard vehicles, 3 Vector reconnaissance UAVs. On July 25, the US Department of Defense announced an additional $400 million aid package to Ukraine. It includes additional munitions for air defense and artillery, armored vehicles, anti-tank weapons and other equipment that will help Ukraine counter Russian aggression. The Bulgarian parliament after a long debate decided to transfer a package of military assistance to Ukraine.
