First ATU workshops open in COVID-19 emergency mode – Reifenpresse.de

But tomorrow, at ten regional locations, the first companies will start a so-called COVID 19 workshop emergency operation, as is known, the abbreviation stands for Coronavirus Disease and the number stands for the (outbreak) year 2019. The maintenance and repair of vehicles on site is therefore offered taking into account specific health protection measures and is intended to ensure the necessary basic care. “Basically, these workshops are available to all drivers in emergency operation. Primarily, however, the work focuses on urgent automotive services, which usually cannot be postponed. The vehicles of rescue and care services, police, fire brigade and authorities have priority, ”as the company clarifies. The connected shops in the relevant emergency workshops in Berlin, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Filderstadt-Bernhausen, Frankfurt / Main, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart – more are to be added gradually depending on the location – will remain closed until further notice.
