At the moment, about 4,000 people have already been cared for by the Flemish Cross, the Tomorrowland organization informs us. Of these, 45 people were hospitalized. Fortunately, most of them have since been allowed to go home, but 7 of them are still in hospital. “The complaints are about intoxication, but there are also cuts and fractures,” it sounds.

Most of the treatments took place at Dreamville, the festival’s campsite. About 45% of all sick and injured came to report there. “We notice especially on this third day of the weekend that fatigue plays tricks on people. That is always the case on the last day of the festival. Of course, the heat doesn’t help either.”

Yet people are optimistic, because 500 to 700 fewer people will be admitted over the course of the weekend than during the last edition in 2019. It was also very warm then.

During the opening hours of the festival, a first aid team from the Flemish Cross and a doctor are present on the festival site. You can recognize the first aid team by their yellow flag with black cross.
