Firmware Update: Athom Homey 8.0.1 – Picture and Sound – Downloads

Actually, this update was necessary to get the “advanced-flow-add-on” active. see here for : news: Homey introduces paid Advanced Flow add-on for Homey Pro

But I think this update is a very good one, despite the fact that few (no) other things are arranged.
We can say and think anything about Athorm (homey), and its competitors, but I think this option (despite paying once) is a very good one.
Say it yourself, you buy a product 8 years ago (for me) Homey KS Early 2016, and they still maintain the software now. We do buy a new smartphone every several years, where we receive an update sparingly in recent years.
Ok that sometimes something goes away (own voice, old editor) but now bring the latter back as an option.
I think a lot of people will get by with the standard flow editor, but if you become a bit more expert over time, this is a godsend. After 2 days I was able to clear up a series of 40 flows because I was able to merge several flows into 1. and already enough ideas to start other flows.
And yes, a common complaint is that “why not import the current flows to the new flows”, I that there are so many changes in the underlying configuration that this was not really possible. I think that people at Athorm have thought about that but have not done it. This may be to ensure basic compatibility.
