The plums. Honored Firefighters. The feast of Sainte-Barbe was recently celebrated in the presence of Colonel Gauthier Carra, DDASIS, Commander Anthony Galbois, Captain Anthony Durantet, Martine Arnaud, departmental councilor, the mayors of Laprugne, Lavoine and Saint-Priest La Prugne.
An opportunity for Lieutenant Hervé Cloux, head of the rescue centre, to take stock of the year 2022. 135 equipment outings took place, divided between Laprugne (39), Lavoine (11), La Chabanne (11), Saint-Priest La Prugne (19). 19 firefighters, including 5 women, make up the workforce.
Note the incorporation of Séverine Thomas Mollon, mayor of Laprugne, as firefighters at the city’s rescue center. A first time since until now a mayor or deputy mayor of a municipality could not become a firefighter. An article of the so-called Matras law, dated September 2022, repealed the incompatibility between the functions of a volunteer firefighter and those of mayor or deputy mayor.
Degrees and diplomas. After the deposition of the wreath to the Fallen and the minute’s silence, the return to the salon of the associations was the occasion for the awarding of diplomas, grades and degrees. Stripes: Christian Dufour, in the rank of adjutant; Aurélien Dufour, to the rank of sergeant; Nadège Archimbaud, to the rank of corporal. Diploma: Florian Moussière. Delivery of the medal: the day before, at the Sainte-Barbe department in Moulins, Chief Warrant Officer Thierry Moussier received the Grand Gold Medal for 40 years of service; Lieutenant Hervé Cloux, head of the centre, received the gold medal for 30 years of service from Colonel Gauthier Carra DDASIS; Sergeant Aurélien Dufour was awarded the Bronze Medal for 10 years of service, by Colonel Gauthier Carra, DDASIS.
Colonel Gauthier Carra welcomed the strong participation of the Allier fire brigade this year due to the hailstorms.
The nice ones also offered their respective brides, Nathalie Moussier, Christelle Cloux and Julie Bohat, a bouquet of flowers.
