The professional fire brigade in Vienna has meanwhile been able to bring the roof fire in the Danube center in the Danube city under control. A Floriani suffered injuries.
The Vienna Fire Brigade upgraded the situation to “alarm level 4” during the deployment. In the meantime, 160 firemen with 40 vehicles were deployed to extinguish the roof fire.
As the professional fire department of the town hall correspondence confirmed in the evening, a fireman was injured in the roof fire in the “DZ”. Otherwise there were no injuries.
The shopping center was closed anyway due to the Covid 19 law, except for relevant local suppliers such as supermarkets, pharmacies and telecom shops.
Plasma prey brought to safety
Right at the start of the fire service, these shops were closed for security reasons. There is also a blood plasma bank nearby. The plasma bags were brought to safety in good time by the emergency services.
The fire will keep the professional fire brigade busy until late in the evening – the fire is under control, but extensive fire-fighting work is still required until “fire out”.
