It is reported that a transformer substation caught fire on the territory of DTEK “Odessa Electric Networks” on Transportnaya Street.
“Upon arrival of the fire and rescue unit, a short circuit was detected in the transformer, followed by burning of the insulation,” the message says.
The fire was extinguished in a few minutes.

According to local media outlets, because of the incident, the lights were turned off on many streets in the center of Odessa, on Cheryomushki and Fontana, and the water supply was cut off for many subscribers.
