Sunndal firefighters moved to collect diesel after a leak from a truck on Rv. 70 in Kiklingbrekka. The road is currently closed due to a lot of diesel on the road, firefighters report.
The operator of the Møre og Romsdal 110 power plant, Arnfinn Klausen, tells Tidens Krav that he has now been allowed to open a field beyond the site.
– It is estimated that around 500 liters of diesel leaked from the truck, says Klausen.
The cause of the accident would be an object on the roadway that hit under the truck and punctured the diesel tank.
The police were also on the scene, but they went on the road accident occurred shortly after.

Firefighters have worked diligently to ensure that diesel does not spread to nature and water sources. Among other things, firefighters use an absorbent called “absol”.
The Elva Driva flows nearby, but Klausen says he hasn’t received any messages from the central office that there has been no problem so far.
– We don’t know how long the job will take, but so far everything has gone smoothly, he says.
