An A380 has been reversed on the route from Munich to Miami. The pilots reported an air emergency.

When asked by t-online.de, Lufthansa stated that there had been a fire alarm in the cargo hold. At first it was said that the plane was to land at the Charles-de-Gaulle airport in Paris, where it had received a prioritized landing permit. According to Flightradar24, the machine is now returning to Munich. Flight LH 460 was in the air for about two hours before the emergency report.
So far it has not been clarified whether there was actually a fire on board. Further investigations should take place after the machine has landed.
