A 30-year-old motorist from Kootwijkerbroek, who left a false telephone number and address after a collision in Wageningen, has been sentenced to a fine of 750 euros by the police judge in Arnhem. She also has to pay a compensation of almost 900 euros. The woman did not appear in court on Tuesday.
The woman who was duped in the collision on Kortenoord Allee in October last year was there. Not only did her car get damaged, but so did her trust in other people. “I still held this woman’s baby so that she could write down her address,” the injured party said to the judge.
