The latest bulletin with the epidemiological situation in Portugal, from the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), released this Tuesday has something new: the demographic characterization of confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection in Portugal.
Thus (see image below), it is possible to see that Lisbon leads the list, with 175 confirmed cases. This is followed by Porto with 126, Maia with 104, Vila Nova de Gaia with 68, Valongo with 65 and Gondomar with 56. There are also 55 cases to be reported in Ovar.
In the northern region of the country, the most affected, 1130 positive cases were detected, in the center there are 293, in Greater Lisbon 852, in Alentejo there are six and in the Algarve there are 46. In the Azores, there are 12 infected and 11 in Madeira.

The number of infected by Covid-19 has increased by 302 and there are also seven more deaths to mourn in the past 24 hours. There are currently 203 inpatients, 48 of whom are in intensive care. There are still 1783 people awaiting laboratory results.
