The trailer of Wonder Woman 1984 did something we didn’t quite expect. This one revealed a real look at the fully formed villain Cheetah (Kristen Wiig).

For a long time there has been speculation about how Barbara Ann Minerva, aka Cheetah, would appear in the film. Now we know how that will happen and we see her as a special human / cheetah hybrid.
Wie is Cheetah?
In the comics, Barbara Ann Minerva is often portrayed primarily as an archaeologist, who gains the powers of a cheetah when she enters a hidden tomb in Africa. She often regards these powers as both a blessing and a curse, because they often lead to great pain. She often fights with Wonder Woman, which she is quite jealous of.
The question is whether Minerva is going through the same kind of change in Wonder Woman 1984, or that it will transform in some other way. Given the most recent trailer, the latter seems very likely. The trailer hints that the characters all have their own wishes, which they want to see fulfilled.
At a certain point we hear Cheetah say that she wants to be an apex predator and she seems to get that chance. Below the images!
