Hinojosa del Duque has hosted this weekend the final of the second rural model contest City of Hinojosa, a quote from Rock Ham which was part of an initiative called #AutumnIsRuralwhich brought together other activities such as a showcooking, virtual reality, workshops and table footballamong other.
The Madrid group The Middle, formed by three young people of 19, 16 and 14 years old, was proclaimed, after the jury’s deliberation, winner of the contest, after surprising the audience with his music during his performance. In second place, the Cáceres finished Touching Ceilingand third were the people of Madrid Sobrezero
The mayor of Hinojosa del Duque was present at the event, Matias Gonzalezwho was accompanied by the councilors Juan Antonio Antón, María Antonia Ramírez, Enrique Delgado and Lola Martínez.
The Middle, que suceden a Supercremalleras in the competition’s honors list, is a group from Madrid that emerged in 2021 with clear influences of Green Day and Royal Blood, and they arrived in Hinojosa after many concerts throughout the south of Madrid. As winners of the contest, they receive the grand prize of the event: the recording an EP of four themes further three days of study with accommodation plus mix and masteringor the amount of 1.500 euros.
For their part, the second classified, Tocando Techo, who will receive 600 euros prize, come from Cáceres and in 2019 they released their first songs. They arrived in Hinojosa with their influences from National rock and they already have experience in several festivals in our country.
And, thirdly, with a prize of 400 euros, they finished Sobrezero, a group from Madrid with clear indie-pop influences, which the present public really liked. The rest of the bands participating in the grand final were Desenkanto, Denisdenis, Titín and One-Way Ticketwho will each receive a prize of 300 euros to reach the decisive phase of the contest.
